The MVR Crystallizer (Mechanical Vapor Recompression Crystallizer) is an advanced system designed for concentration and crystallization of industrial liquids such as high-salinity wastewater, chemical brine, and process effluents.

Working Principle of MVR Crystallization

Feed Heating and Circulation:
Wastewater or process liquid is circulated through a heat exchanger using a forced circulation pump, ensuring stable flow even with high-viscosity or scaling solutions. -
Evaporation Stage:
Under vacuum conditions, water or solvent vaporizes at a lower temperature. The vapor is then compressed by an MVR compressor, increasing its pressure and temperature. -
Heat Recovery and Reuse:
The compressed vapor transfers its latent heat back to the heat exchanger, sustaining the evaporation cycle with up to 90% energy recovery. -
Crystallization and Solid Separation:
As concentration increases, salts or solids begin to crystallize. The slurry is then discharged for solid-liquid separation via centrifuge or filter press, achieving Zero Liquid Discharge.
